Mr. Wojcik has over 34 years of pipeline experience. Mr. Wojcik is a founder of Phenix Energy Group and is the chief Engineering Officer Phenix. His background includes; Executive Vice President of Engineering and Design for International Project Development for Premier Pipelines Mississauga. During his six years at Premier Pipelines he was responsible for: an infrastructure upgrade to an LNG pipeline in Qatar; the Maghreb Pipeline Project which was a 560 kilometer 48” diameter pipeline that stretched from the Algeria-Moroccan border to Cordoba Spain (1,400 man workforce); appointed to a trade commission as a consultant assisting the Chinese Government in the development of a 1200 kilometer natural gas pipeline project in Central China.
From 1990 to 1994, Mr. Wojcik was a Vice President of Engineering and Design for Premier Murphy Joint Venture where he completed over $1 billion in difficult terrain construction projects for major oil and gas companies. From 1986 to 1990, he was a Managing Director of Engineering Design for Premier Pipelines where he completed work on the the TransCanada Pipeline System, Trans Quebec & Maritime Pipeline System and the Union Energy Pipeline System. Prior to 1986, Mr. Wojcik worked in various managerial and oversight positions in the pipeline industry. He holds a Degree in Mechanical Design from Seneca College in Ontario and a Metallurgical Engineering Degree from the American Association of Metals in Columbus, Ohio. He is a member of the Ontario Certified Engineering Technologies and the American Society of Metals. He holds Canadian Government Standards Board Certifications in Radiography Level II Pipelines, Ultrasonic Inspection Level II Pipelines and Magnetic Particle Inspection Pipelines / Dye Penetrate Inspection Structural. He was an active member of the board of directors for Cubacan Explorations Inc. an oil and gas exploration company with interests in Canada and Cuba.
